ohhhh my bum!!! now let me explain....training is monday and wednesday nights with QUB Athletics and Abbey AC. tonight we did intervals on the grass football pitches. Intervals which went like this: (all running is hard) 5 min running, 2 min jog, 3 min hard, 2 min jog, 2 min hard, 2 min jog...5 min rest...3 min hard, 2 min jog, 2 min hard, 2 min jog, 1 min hard, DONE!!! So now you know why my bum hurts. But, training with them is great and it's wonderful to be back training again. the only thing is trying to get my lungs in order after being ill while in America. After not making the hill workout on monday because my lungs decided to close almost completely after two sequences, making it through this workout was very encouraging! So tomorrow I'll gimp through an easy run and enjoy the feeling of sore muscles that have worked.
and now on to more reading. *grin* with dignity of course.
