there, it was done.

she stepped back and looked at her creation. it was not going to be taken well by a few people who really wanted her to allow for another outlet, but for those who knew her heart it was the only course of action.

she smiled a bit grimly and began to clean up. of course to just go with what the majority said to do would have been easier, especially one loud voice that was trying to get her attention. only she knew what the better decision was, even though it was hard.

burning bridges is never easy, especially when there's nothing wrong with where they lead. now, though, she had done the right thing. the timing for the other hadn't been right, and she knew it. she would bask in the beauty of what she made, and live in the joy that the other idea might someday be brought into fruition.
