here at the frontier, there are falling leaves. although my neighbours are all barbarians, and you, you are a thousand miles away, there are always two cups on my table.

snow
it was required that we went to the snow to see 'real snow.' not the sad few inches we get in northern ireland. so we went to salt creek falls at about 4200 feet. not very high in the whole scheme of things, but high enought for the northern irish school of thought.
of course, seeing that is is oregon, it rained the whole time as the freezing level was at 6000ft. but it was fun none the less. we took lots of pictures and then stopped halfway through for a good wee snack of cheese and crackers. it was fun. so it was.
