ending the lesson

working for a community charity organisation has the normal stresses of a job but also holds the added bonus of funding stresses. the programmes are paid for by funders; usually something like EU Funding or Peace and Reconciliation Funds. Yet, if the funding runs out, there endeth the lesson. next wednesday my funding runs out, and so my programme will end and i shall be done with this job. interesting to have a job end not becuase of moving onto another one or being made redundant or anything, or even just quitting, but just becuase there really aren't any funds to cover the position. I've applied for another one at another business in Belfast. It's a full-time, three year post so would be quite good. I hope to get a letter today saying i've been short-listed.

and here endeth the lesson.
