yes, this _is_ the mentality around Newtownards, Strandtown and many other areas of Belfast. but then there are just the same sentiments from the other angle just down the street. and when you put yourself in their shoes, how can you really blame them? ok, ok, you can to an extent. but these people believe with everything they are that their
"side" is right and the "other side" is wrong/evil/the devil. although seeing all this _is_ disturbing, it also helped me to understand a little bit more about this side as i'm trying desperately to not have any preconceived notions or thoughts blind my head.
