Books

i've been buying a lot of books lately. to join the stack that i brought back with me, and the ones i've been given...

oh, i can justify some of them....
you know, all those that somehow coincide with northern ireland politics:
Making Sense of the Troubles
The Dirty War
Holy War in Belfast *that one sounds nice doesn't it?*
The Faithful Tribe *about the Loyalist Orange Order*
Before the Dawn and Hope and History, *both by Gerry Adams (Sinn Féin President)
Northern Ireland After the Good Friday Agreement
Passion and Prejudice

The problem is the non-jusitfyable ones make up several stacks....
Tolkien: LoTR Trilogy, the Hobbit, Unfinished Tales, The book of Lost Tales, The Silmarillian
Lewis: Narnia, That Hideous Strength, The Great Divorce, Surprised by Joy
Elie Wiesel: Night
Byron: Selected Poems
Alexandre Dumas: La dame aux camélias
Balzac: Eugénie Grandet
Corneille: par lui-méme
Racine: Phèdre
Andre Gide: L'immoraliste

i suppose all are jusifiable: they're books. it's not as though i'm spending my money on drugs...although this is my kind of drug

keep it going. come join the book club. i'm always open for suggestions.

I may not have mountains of classical literature, but I am finding more books I like. My latest addition? A Separate Peace, by John Knowles. Just in the middle of it for my second time, and still loving it.
Love you! Miss you! Yours, Ash

Hello... just surfing through.

Yours is the nicest blog I have read today.

If you don't mind some advice from a stranger... Keep the other books. It is always a plus to see things from the outside.

Cheers!
