it's a beautiful northern ireland day. spring is peeking around the corner and although the wind today was still rather chill, there's a knowledge that the winter is on its way out. my local park, which knows the sounds of my footfalls well, is now welcoming me not with the beauty of autumn colours, or simple green grass, but with the promise of daffodils. two weeks, max, and then there will be a virtual sea of them. they are flowers to give life to the soul.
