here at the frontier, there are falling leaves. although my neighbours are all barbarians, and you, you are a thousand miles away, there are always two cups on my table.
just when i was beginning to be comfortable with my digital camera it goes and breaks and i've got to get used to a whole new one....can't wait to get mine back from the doctors.
It can take something breaking down for us to gather a greater appreciation for when it worked well and we didn't recognize how brilliantly it made life better. I don't know, is that a metaphor?
